Altered Distressed Journal & Creation Video

I finally got a light that allows me to film videos at night. It is literally so much more convenient for me since I typically have nothing to do in the wee hours of the night. I really love the way this journal turned out. It does look similar to this one but I love this color combo lately! All of the products used throughout this album can be found in my etsy shop. I also apologize about the music in the video. I decided to quickly add it because I did not have time to do a voiceover. Hopefully the music is not to bad.

Photo Shoot with Bekah

Me and my friend Bekah went out the other day to take a few photos just for the fun of it. She said she wanted them filtered with a vintage theme. I hope that is portrayed through these photos. I know they do look a tad grainy but it was a filter I applied. I think the grain sort of adds to the photos in a pictorialist sort of way. Her eyes are seriously stunning and they are real. I thought she was wearing contacts, but no! What are your thoughts on these snapshots? xoxo drew

DIY // Flower Crowns

Flower Crowns have to be one of my all time favorite accessories at the moment. They add that fun hipster vibe with a hint of freshness due to the flowers. This photo of my friend Zuhrah has to be one of my all time favorite photos I have shot. I just love the bare skin feeling. Does that even make sense? I can promise you she was wearing a strapless dress (lol). Anyway, I created a video last night (which was live) about how to create these crowns. We made a total of 3 flower crowns on the class and I highly suggest checking out the video. These crowns take 20 minutes at max and could be used as an accessory, flower girl crown or photo prop. I personally think anybody can pull off a flower crown.

Finally a fashion post. I know most of my followers are not interested in these male fashion posts but I seriously love them. I'm going into the field of fashion design so why not share my style on my blog. I really loved this look. That jacket is one of my all time favorite jackets and the pantone green chinos really just pop.
